The linden is a very leafy tree that provides good shade, belonging to the Tiliaceae family. It blooms between June and July, usually found above 1000 meters. Its flowers are harvested just as they open, leaving those still closed and those already wilted on the tree.

BENEFITS

The main characteristic of linden is its ability to calm nervous excitement. An infusion of linden flowers is enough to calm the most agitated spirits. It also has a reducing effect on stomach acidity, which is why we at Terza Luna use it both in the relaxing herbal tea and in the digestive herbal tea.

HISTORY

A little history won't hurt. Greek mythology tells us that the centaur Chiron was the son of Saturn and the poor Philyra, who, realizing the monster she had given birth to, asked the gods not to be left among mortals.
