The tea ceremony is prepared using not just any tea but only matcha. Matcha is a powdered tea made from Gyokuro leaves, a particular Japanese tea cultivar. Matcha is one of the richest teas in antioxidants and caffeine. There are different types of matcha available on the market that differ in origin and quality. For an introduction to the tea ceremony, we recommend starting with a not too expensive matcha. The set comes in the gift box shown in the photo.
