CAN CAST IRON TEAPOTS BE USED ON A STOVE?

Once used as kettles, today they serve as teapots, they can be used on a stove but it is better to use a flame spreader and low heat.
It is better, however, to pour already hot water into them rather than putting them on the fire every time to preserve them, in fact, their internal enamel could crack over time.
