Premium Selection Jin Jun Mei is an exceptional black tea, for several reasons:

1. It is harvested only before the Qing Ming festival (early March)

2. Many buds are used in the harvest 3. It is a very labor-intensive tea to process Jin Jun Mei black tea comes from the Wuyi Mountains area in China, famous for many rock oolongs and for Lapsang Souchong.

We are in the Fujian province, at altitudes often above 1500 meters, a fundamental component to give the tea excellent qualities. In terms of taste, Jin Jun Mei tea is particularly aromatic (thanks to the many buds) but also very delicate, its infusion will hardly be bitter, even if left to steep for a long time.
