Tabil (تابل) is a spice blend used in both Tunisia and Algeria, like other blends in the Mediterranean area (zatar and ras el hanout) it is characterized by a unique delicacy. This makes it very versatile, in fact we can use tabil in many different dishes, both in soups and legumes but also on fish.
Although among its ingredients are black pepper and chili, tabil is not a spicy blend.
