SMUDGE LAVENDER

The lavender smudge sticks, or bundles of dried lavender, are used for fumigating environments in a therapeutic or ritual context. The smudges are typical incenses of shamanic culture, widely used since ancient times.
The lavender smudge produces a delicate scent, but different from the classic lavender aroma we are used to, because in the bundles there are not only flowers but also twigs and leaves of the plant. 
By burning everything together, the fumigation is indeed delicate but reminiscent of that of white sage bundles.

The essential oils present in the flowers are burned and dispersed in the environment, the properties of lavender are mainly relaxing, anxiolytic, and anti-inflammatory. It is often useful against headaches.

With the same bundle, you can make up to 20 fumigations.

HOW TO USE LAVENDER SMUDGES

The lavender smudge is already dry and therefore ready to use, it is then lit from one end with a lighter, but it is better to use stoves because they have a more powerful flame.
Once lit, we can blow on it to promote combustion.
The dry lavender smudge will burn for a short time and then extinguish on its own, somewhat like what happens with palo santo.
