White tea is considered one of the most precious Chinese teas because only the bud and the first leaf of the plant are chosen for its collection. The bud, in fact, gives its white color, but also the freshness of the leaves, a fundamental characteristic for white tea, contributes with their white fuzz.

These teas also owe their fame to the properties they possess: being fresh and of first quality, they are very rich in antioxidants, the caffeine in white tea is similar to that present in green tea.

However, always less than black tea. The taste of White Pine Needles is decidedly fresh and delicate, definitely worth trying, also because of its excellent quality-price ratio. It is indeed a tea made of only buds, with a fruity and delicate taste. Harvested twice a year.

Normally its twin Yin Zhen Silver Needle can cost up to 50€ per 100 grams.
