The Kukicha Karigane is the highest quality Kukicha usually found on the market because it is made from leaves and twigs of Gyokuro.
Normally Kukicha is a very well-balanced tea because it is composed of tea leaves, with their astringency, and plant twigs that round out the taste.
In addition, Kukicha generally has a low caffeine content (because there is none in the twigs) but still a high content of l-theanine.
Therefore, it is a non-exciting infusion, but one that helps concentration and relaxation, thanks to the properties of l-theanine.
