BAI MU DAN
100g Cake, Fuding, 2019
This 100g cake is made with Bai Mu Dan leaves, from the Fuding area, Xianpu village.
The harvest was done in April 2019.
Just like Pu Erh, Bai Mu Dan is also pressed into cakes, it can be consumed fresh or aged.
If aged, the notes will become sweeter, leaning towards ripe yellow fruit.
When consumed fresh, it has a very pleasant and delicate taste of white tea, with floral and sweet notes.
The cultivar used for this cake is Fuding Da Bai.
To consume the cake, we recommend, just like with Pu Erh, breaking it with a knife or awl, trying to get pieces of 3-4g which will then be infused.
The leaves can be infused multiple times.
