HOW TO PREPARE COLD BREW TEA AND HERBAL TEAS

WHAT IS COLD BREWING?
Cold brew is called cold maceration in Italian. Cold maceration is a slightly different extraction process from the hot infusion we are used to for tea and herbal teas. Tea, herbal teas, or coffee are infused in cold water (so the water is not heated) and the infusion times are extended. From a minimum of 10 minutes to a couple of hours.
The longer the time, the stronger the infusion becomes.

The advantages of cold brew are various:

1. We don't have to heat the water, so we can make large quantities with little effort;

2. With cold brew, we can transform our herbal teas, tea, and coffee into fresh, original, and summery drinks;

3. Cold brew enhances the notes of tea and herbal teas better than hot infusion because it is less aggressive;

4. With cold brew, we can experiment a lot and create our blends by adding spices, fresh fruits, or vegetables, for a constantly different and innovative offer;

5. The storage times are long, we can keep it in the fridge for 5-6 days (without sugar);

6. For health department purposes, it is enough to label it with the infusion date and preferably consume it within 5 days, or write it on an internal register or database.

HOW TO PREPARE COLD BREW COFFEE

You can do everything in cold brew, even coffee! And it turns out great.
First of all, it has a lower caffeine content, so it is less acidic and less strong than the classic espresso from a bar. And this is an advantage because for many people, the acidity and intensity of espresso are a problem. Cold brew is gentler, especially if the coffee we use is of good quality, we will have an excellent result. Because cold brew enhances good products. This is why we recommend the Tunki bio coffee.

  1. Use the cold brew infuser and fill it with a teaspoon of ground coffee from the Terza Luna selection; The longer it rests, the more intense it will be. We can taste it during its infusion time to decide when it's good for us;
  2. Fill the top container with quality ice;
  3. Once ready, we can serve it with ice and garnish to our liking;
  4. Leave it on the counter or on display, making sure the ice melts and percolates with the coffee;

HOW TO PREPARE SHAKES WITH SUPERFOOD

Pour a teaspoon of the mix into the shaker glass; Pour about 200ml of cold or room temperature milk into the mix; Add a little water to preliminarily hydrate the mix powder; Shake again to mix the mixture with the milk; Shake the mixture vigorously, making sure there are no lumps of any kind; Pour the shake into a glass with ice and the garnish of your choice.
