Copal gold is a granular incense derived from the plant Icica icicariba.

Compared to other resins, copal is younger and softer. Once burned, its aroma is sweeter and more delicate than other granular incenses.

Copal Resin

The characteristic of Copal incense is its consistency. It is not a hardened resin or a sap. The resin of Copal incense is extracted from trees of the Buresa family, which were considered sacred by indigenous populations of Central and South America in ancient times.

To burn the Copal resin, you need a candle essential oil diffuser suitable for burning resins and charcoal for granular incense. First, light the charcoal and place it on the incense holder or essence burner. Wait 20-30 seconds for the flame to ignite the entire charcoal, then place the Copal incense on it.

In a few seconds, the copal resin will also catch fire, releasing the characteristic scent of this high-quality granular incense.
