HAWTHORN HERBAL TEA

Crataegus Oxyacantha

Origin: Poland

Format: flowers and leaves

Plant from wild collection

Harvest 2023

Hawthorn is a highly appreciated herb due to the contribution of bioflavonoids that it provides to the body when taken in herbal infusions or through other methods. Hawthorn infusion is traditionally used to improve the circulatory system and is therefore used to treat coronary and atherosclerosis.

We at Terza Luna use it in various herbal teas: the relaxing one (as it is indeed one of the best herbs for sleeping) and the one for hypertension, precisely because of its tropism on the heart organ. Hawthorn infusion is considered a hypertension herbal tea in all respects and highly recommended for all patients suffering from problems related to free radicals.
An herbal infusion based on hawthorn can be a perfect tool to alleviate pains in the cardiac area, chest area, and abdomen, even in cases of respiratory stress, such as in cases of dyspnea. Soft, delicate, and fruity flavor.

The hawthorn in Terza Luna's herbal tea cut comes from wild collection, that is, the leaves and flowers of the hawthorn were collected from wild plants.

This gives the plant many more properties and nutrients than a cultivated plant. The wild plant is not fertilized, pesticides are not used because they are much stronger than cultivated plants.
The main difference between cultivated plants and wild plants lies in the "forcing" process of man that weakens the plant, making it more susceptible to attacks by parasites, fungi, and others, making the use of pesticides necessary.
