At the end of winter comes spring. The earth is repopulated with plants. The first to sprout, which we already find from the end of winter, are calendula, dandelion, nettle, artichoke, and many other purifying plants. Surely it is a gift after the rainy and cold winter, nature seems to invite us to use these plants precisely at this time as it happens during other seasons and start our spring detoxification. It is therefore right to follow the rhythm and the indications provided by nature itself to remain in tune with it and acquire greater harmony with the world around us.
Spring is the right time to support our body by detoxifying it with natural methods and starting a detoxification of the liver, lymphatic system, and kidneys. In general, the goal is to help the organs responsible for eliminating toxins and stagnant elements to give new energy and lymph to our system. So just as the earth repopulates and flourishes after a period of stagnation and rest, the same must happen in our body. Giving it a hand with the right plants will not be wrong, given the amount of pollutants we load ourselves with every day.
Once the importance of a detox period during spring is understood, let's see some products, advice, and practical gestures that can accompany us in the coming weeks.
We recommend starting with a detox cycle based on organic detoxifying herbal tea to last at least 2 weeks. One cup a day will be enough - so you will need at least 200g of product - to start the spring season on the right foot.
If you already know that you will not maintain this detox program based on herbal teas, it is advisable to use Epavin, a fantastic mother tincture based on purifying herbs. For a 20-day detox cycle, a single vial of Epavin will be sufficient.
If you had a heavy winter, in which you suffered a particularly heavy stagnant phase, you can add to the organic detoxifying herbal tea also the organic draining herbal tea, or Drenvin. In these 2 products, we have a fantastic plant, nettle, which helps us to drain and purify, with ancient tradition and very effective tropism.
The purifying plants at our disposal are numerous, as are the ways to use and prepare them. Use these plants (artichoke, dandelion, nettle) also in salads or in other preparations, so you can integrate your diet and other detoxifying products with this type of food.
Another ally is Turmeric, now omnipresent in books, articles, publications. Always keep it on your spice shelf, try using it in sauces, legumes, and soups. If you really can't incorporate it into your cooking, then we recommend turmeric in spagyric mother tincture or golden milk. Always remember that turmeric is fat-soluble and therefore should be carried through a fat (oil, milk, butter).
Now you are ready to start your spring detox cycle!
