A classic cocktail, revisited by Terza Luna

Today our legendary Luisiana offers you a "Chai Old Fashioned", a reinterpretation of the classic Old Fashioned, but with a completely new ingredient: Nepal Garam Massala in a velvet that will enrich our pre-dinner. This flavored black tea has spicy notes given by orange, ginger, cinnamon, and other aromas such as cardamom, cloves, black pepper, which together make it very similar to a classic Indian chai.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon
  • 1 cube of white sugar
  • 2 or 3 drops of Angostura Bitters
  • 1 bar spoon of still water
  • 1 oz of Stolichnaya Premium Vodka flavored with black tea "Nepal Garam Massala"
  • ¼ tea spoon of Sucroester of fatty acids

TECHNIQUE:

Old fashioned

DECORATION:

Orange zest

PREPARATION OF FLAVORED VODKA:

Infuse 200 grams of vodka with 4 grams of Nepal Garam Massala for two days.

PREPARATION OF THE VELVET:

Pour (in a separate glass) 1 oz of flavored vodka and ¼ tea spoon of Sucroester of fatty acids, then emulsify everything with an electric milk frother until the velvet becomes adequately stable. Finally, you will need to lay the velvet on our finished Old Fashioned with the help of a bar spoon.
