Curry is a typical Indian preparation based on various spices. The mix of different Indian spices makes each curry unique and peculiar. In this recipe of chickpea curry, we will show you how to make a perfect Indian curry in your kitchen based on garam masala and turmeric, with coriander and cumin.
Ingredients for Chickpea Curry
- 400gr. of boiled chickpeas.
- 250ml. of tomato sauce.
- 1 small onion.
- 1 clove of black garlic (found in organic stores) alternatively normal garlic.
- Sesame oil.
- Fresh ginger.
- Spices: garam masala, turmeric, coriander, and cumin.
- Salt.
Preparation
In a pan, heat the oil, once hot add the garlic, chopped onion, and a little grated ginger. When the onion is golden, add the tomato sauce and the spices. Cook over low heat until the sauce reduces, then add the chickpeas. Mix everything well. Let it rest off the heat covered for 2-3 minutes.
