Honey Black Tea, Mr. Lo

TÈ NERO HONEY BLACK MR. LO TAIWAN, HARVEST MAY 2020

This tea is one we discovered during our trip to Taiwan in May 2018.

The Honey Black tea is more or less the second flush of the Oriental Beauty. It grows in the same coastal area in the west of Taiwan, harvested towards the end of May. Its leaves are still bitten by the Jacobiasca formosana, less than in the 1st flush. The percentage of oxidation that the leaves receive is higher, as it is indeed a black tea. The result is a very pleasant black tea, of great quality and especially with an excellent value for money. Mr. Lo is a great tea expert, known in his area for his excellent teas, among which there are oolongs matured in Yuzu and Oranges. Mr. Lo has shown us to have a huge experience, at the age of 72. A family of tea masters in the fifth generation. Their teas prove to have been produced by decidedly expert hands.

• Recommended infusion method: Gong Fu Cha or normal infusion: 3g per 200ml
