Ravensara aromatica
Ravensara is a plant belonging to the lauraceae family, native to Madagascar. Its leaves produce an essential oil that is gaining interest in scientific research, especially for its antibacterial and antiviral properties. It has similar properties to tea tree oil but is also very effective as an antiviral and great for combating fatigue and asthenia.
Like all essential oils, Ravensara essential oil should be used in drops, not exceeding 2-3 per day, mixed with a vegetable oil (almond, walnut, etc.) or in a spoonful of honey and then taken orally.
Its scent is fresh and balsamic, and the plant is also supportive in situations of physical and psychological stress, generally an excellent tonic.
It is excellent for use in aromatherapy when diffused in the environment.
