Spearmint, also known as Nana or Nanah, is the classic Egyptian mint used in mint green tea that can be found in many Arab countries.
It is the mint used for years in the historic “brooklyn” chewing gums.

Besides these two anecdotes, it is one of the many varieties of mint we have in the Mediterranean basin.
Along with its sisters (peppermint, sweet mint, water mint, etc.), it shares properties:
Mint has relaxing and digestive properties. In addition to this, it is anti-inflammatory and its essential oil is also used as an antibacterial.

Mint tea has an excellent flavor, almost does not need sweeteners like sugar and honey. 
In the summer periods, it is an excellent refreshment that lowers our internal temperature
